DESCRIPTION:

This is a special organization within a special organization. Emmanuel Music is one of Boston's pre-eminent performing ensembles, acclaimed over 30 years for its stellar tradition of performing Bach cantatas at the highest levels of excellence. In 1994 it established the Emmanuel Children's Choir, to bring the values and discipline of excellent musical performance to 25 diverse but qualified students at a time, ages 5-13, from Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and Roslindale, as well as Cambridge, Brookline and Somerville.

Even though the Choir has since disbanded, Emmanuel Music still produces numerous concerts each season. Also, in partnership with the Mary McLoud Bethune School and the Boston Arts Academy, it has started an outreach program.

Emmanuel Music needs philanthropic investments to make all this possible. This is your chance to be an angel.
