TechBoston for TechBoston Consulting Group
TechBoston, founded in 2002, offers advanced technology courses to equip Boston Public School students with skills essential for success in careers and post-secondary education. It has, in turn, launched TechBoston Consulting Group, a nonprofit business that has combined the need for TechBoston students to apply their new computer skills outside the classroom with the need for small companies, charities, and the City of Boston for affordable, high quality and efficient computer and IT services. Students get practical hands-on experience in website design and development, content management, quality and assurance testing, database work, and much more. Since its founding, this entreprenuerial collaborative has employed 60 student consultants (100% of whom have gone on to college), successfully completed 30 consulting jobs, and generated gross revenues of $130,000. This innovative organization is making an indelible technological mark in the Boston community. Your support will have far-reaching effects — dive in!
