Cambridge Forum, Inc.
The Cambridge Forum was founded in the late ‘60s by the First Parish (Unitarian) to provide occasions
for civilized dialogue between experts and ordinary citizens on the highly divisive issues of that troubled
time. Its highest quality ensured its continuity; since 1970 WGBH radio has broadcast its discussions
nationally, and in 1998 it was finally incorporated as an independent public charity. By leveraging inkind
gifts, it leads 20-25 national dialogue annually on a budget of less than $100,000 and one half-time
professional staff person.
