The Catalogue found a great friend for Romanian Children’s Relief (Cat’03 - [link] ), who as an anonymous donor contributed $10,000 in 2004, $5,000 in 2005, and $10,000 in 2006 as well as in 2007—for a total of $35,000 in those four years. Obviously that donor and RCR were meant for each other, which illustrates how the Catalogue works at its best in donor education. RCR, for its part, is changing the way abandoned and handicapped children are cared for in Romania. “Our listing in the Catalogue for Philanthropy helped us position our organization as a professional group, providing professional services to our colleagues in Romania even though we are all volunteers.…Thank you!”
